Writing or publishing articles is a powerful promotional and pre-selling method and it’s mostly free. If you own a website, e-zine or a newsletter I strongly recommend using articles to promote our program. Customers love valuable content and if you provide relevant and high quality information they will be more willing to purchase the product as the customers perceive the author to be a credible and reputable authority on the subject.

You can write your own articles, rent a writer from elance.com or use our proven articles (as long as you don’t alter the author resource box at the end). Don’t forget to replace the link at the bottom with your affiliate hoplink.

You can also add book images or banners to the body of the article if you’d like.

This section will be updated regularly so make sure to check it often.

You may use articles that have already been published providing you keep the bio box at the end of the article the same (this is a requirement of these article directories). Make sure you update the links in the article so that they contain your affiliate hoplink. You can find some of these articles here.

Articles may be distributed to your blog, others blogs or all over additional article directories. To avoid being penalized by google it is recommended that you re-spin the content if you which to publish in bulk (tens or hundreds) of article directories. Blogs and RSS submissions can contain the same content without penalty.

Content spinning (or in simple terms – rewriting) is very easy once you learn how. Take the sentence and replace some of the descriptive words, or completely reword in your own language.

Articles are really effective for affiliate marketers for three main reasons:

1. They are mostly free – no website required.

2. They can drive targeted traffic in large quantities.

3. The bio can be used to promote the product directly and contain your affiliate links.

If used in bulk this can be a very effective method for affiliates. Teamed up with good keyword research and you will be able to get your articles ranking #1 in google for some search terms.

I can recommend using the large directories such as Ezine articles, eHow or Amazines for ranking well. The other way you could do it is syndicate your article through a distribution service like isnare.com For $2 per article you will end up with your article on blogs, directories and other unexpected places with your affiliate hoplink intact.

Some directories may not allow the use of hoplinks in the bio, but there are ways around this that we will discuss in our section on Link Cloaking. Alternately, direct them to a product review hosted on one of your blogs or sites.
